Sunday the 2nd: I started my day out by doing my chores and just getting them out of my way. The majority of my day was then spend trying to figure out the details of the events for the following Monday and Tuesday!
At about 4:30 my Dad and I went to the river, the Rogue River which is also the name of my town, to go fishing! There was a shirtless Hispanic man being arrested and a uncommon large amount of strange, possibly doing lots of drugs, kind of people. It is typical for some of these people to linger under the bridge. So my dad and I steered clear of them but as it turned out the spot we were at mostly free of these strange people was full of snags like sticks and weeds! Which meant my dad was just fixing our lines the whole time and we eventually went home without any fish and just some broken line. It was still fun though!
Later we had pork chops and rice, it was delicious and one of my dad’s specialties. After that I watched The Flash with Joe and relaxed! A wonderful end to the day!
Monday the 3rd: My day began with a wonderful morning of some peanut butter bagels and raspberry tea with an episode of The Flash with Joe!! After that I got ready for the day. My dad and brother went and saw The House while my mom, Joe, my friends Natalie, Talyn, Brynn, and Mariah, along with myself went and saw Wonder Woman! Joe bought him and I popcorn, root beer, Maltesers, and RedVines! They were all so delicious! Thank you Joe!💗 Also I really liked the movie, but I would’ve preferred a slightly different ending! Afterwards those that could went to Silver Dragon Chinese food and went home.
Tuesday the 4th: The Fourth of July! First on my agenda was a peanut butter English muffin followed by a picturesque doe in my yard! So after cramming a mouthful of peanut buttery deliciousness in, I darted outside with my camera in hopes of following the majestic creature only to of lost it in the tall grass, but there was a wonderfully friendly butterfly that I managed to capture!
To finish off my breakfast I watched a Casey Neistat vlog, Vlog_042, and then got myself ready for the day! Then my niece came over, and an hour later so did Joe! You must be wondering why…😏
Well you see, for the second year we have decided to go to The Red White and Boom at the Jackson County Expo! This year my mom decided not to go but my niece came instead and so did my Nana and Pops (Grandma and Grandpa), the constants being myself, Joe, and my dad! So we went to Bobbio’s Pizza first and got unbelievably full! Then we went to the expo and set up our blanket and chairs! And once there Joe and I noticed remnants of shaved ice, and for the sake and desire to finally complete Joe’s month long quest to obtain some, we set off in search of the shaved ice! After walking through all the vendors and coming back to where we started we saw the holy grail, a giant sign where it was written, “SHAVED ICE”! We followed those ahead of us on the pilgrimage for the snow cones until we reached the holy site! Of which Joe purchased shaved ice for himself, me, and my niece! (He’s the bestest!)
Then we came back to our spot in the grass and participated in our own sunflower seed spitting competition and relaxed! There were people being interviewed at 7! Drunk people dancing by 8! And a fire in a tree at 9! There was even a guy who purposed to his girlfriend! I gave Joe my camera so he took about half of these pictures and they’re incredible! Eventually the fireworks started and we just sat back and relaxed. Afterwards we defeated the flooded ant mound of traffic and went home where Joe and I watched The Flash then hit the hay!😇😎🎉
Wednesday the 5th: My morning began with some buttered Sweet Dark toast and a side of some Casey Neistat vlogs! Followed by a wonderful shower! I then uploaded my 4th of July pictures and then my dad’s! He has the Nikon D3300 and I have the Nikon D3400, which there are only slight differences like mine is lighter, has a Bluetooth connection to my phone, a built in guide, and a longer lasting battery but his has an audio port instead of a built in one and takes practically identical images.
Then my mom, my grandma, and I took my niece home! When we got back home there was a mama and about five baby turkeys in the fenced part of our backyard! And my mom was on top of our deck and I was at the bottom taking a couple pictures when the mama turkey turned around and flew straight for my mom! Luckily the turkey and her babies flew over my mom and on top of our house! It was absolutely scary and HILARIOUS!
Following this event I did the dishes, the cat box, took out the trash and vacuumed! Then I had a wonderful lunch break call with my love! Afterwards my dad made dinner and it was delicious!! I still don’t know what it was called, but it was pork-something!
